Revealed Area 51
I have a soft spot for conspiracy theories. Anything Sci-fi grabs my fancy. So having an interest to the National Geographic story... well, I just have to take a liken too.
Revealing some photographs will have others like myself wonder if this is all that was covered up.
Check out the magazine, but while at it here is a link to what they have on the web.

Illustrations from book
For an update. I am currently working with the writer Dave Barr on a children's book. He is self publishing this himself and I am illustrating. This has been my first job that I have actually done a full series of drawings and illustrations. It's exciting for me because it gives me the understanding and experience on the being committed to a project. So far the project consist of 44 illustrations. With a cover it makes it 45.
I thought I would share just a few of the illustrations. It's all in b&w.

Works
I have a showing next week at The Flying Cat on April 1st. I just thought it would be cool to post some pictures of the pieces I have been working on, to the finished pieces that was created.
I am still making found object pieces that are centered around different kind of tin cans. These two pieces were from a small chocolate mint tin and a sardine tin.
From the help of friends and family, they supplied the pieces for these fun works of art.
The most time consuming part in making them is the time to wait for the different fluids that alter the texture and aging look to them. The planning is also a big part as well. I kind of knew what kind of subject I wanted to develope with the parts. But it's not till I try to to fit it all together that the creation starts to finally mold into my mind.
I am looking forward to the show next week and hearing everyone's feedback. I am very much in favor in hearing a lot of feedback on my work. It helps me know what people would like to see more of. So please share your thoughts with me.

Dr. Sketchy Jan. Session
Sorry, it has been a while since I have posted anything on here. I am going to try to change that.
I thought I would post a few sketches or drawings from Dr. Sketchy Cincinnati Session from January. The model requested that no one to post photos of her on any website. However she agreed to let folks post drawings done by artist. I love playing around with surrounding patterns and designs. It probabably is a little distracting, but I find it that it pulls out the character into the scene a little more.
